Bespoke Delivery

Free Delivery

All will be delivered to your home or event address free of charge. As a Cotswold-based baker, we only deliver & supply to local addresses - this includes Cheltenham, Cotswold, Gloucestershire & Neighbouring Counties. 

For orders outside of this area, please get in touch to discuss your options, as we will be happy to work with you and make other reasonable arrangements. 

Delivery Days & Times

Our delivery service runs 7 Days a week, Monday - Sunday. We aim to deliver at the most convenient time for you within our delivery times & schedule of 7 am - 8 pm.

Please note this excludes Bank Holidays or our shut down days - If you require a cake or bake for a Bank Holiday, please order in advance to schedule your delivery.

Bespoke Ordering

Ordering Bespoke Desire Cakes

As everything at Desire Cakes is bespoke & baked fresh for you and your event, this requires unique tailored quotes - Please get in contact to discuss your order so that we can create a quote for you & book your order.

Ordering Lead Time

Please contact and order Three Weeks ahead of your desired delivery date. Three Weeks' Notice allows us to fit your order into our production schedule and ensures your order can be delivered on time.

However, on some occasions, if you contact us, we will be able to squeeze you into our schedule on short Notice, with less than Thee week's Notice.

 Please note over busy periods our schedule fills up. We work hard to fit all of our customers into our schedule, but on some occasions, if we are busy even with Three Weeks' Notice, we may not be able to take your order.

Bespoke Payment & Cancellations

Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions

Once your order is placed and you have received your order confirmation from us. You have to agree to our payment terms.

Non-Refundable Deposit

We require a 25% Non-Refundable deposit.

​Once the order is confirmed, we require a 25% deposit from your total payment to secure your booking - This should be made once the order is approved and at least three weeks before order due date. Your 25% deposit is non-refundable if the Order is cancelled.

​Full payment should be made two weeks before the agreed cake due date - The customer can make payment in full upon placing the order, meaning a deposit is not needed. However, a 25% cancellation fee will be taken from the total payment before refunding the customer if the order is cancelled.

Your 25% deposit is non-refundable - If a deposit is not placed, your order will not be completed, and the customer order will be deemed cancelled. As despot is a binding contract - The deposit guarantees the order will be completed.

​If you book your order with less than two week's notice, we will require full payment upon order confirmation.

Your full Payment is non-refundable if the Cake is cancelled with less than 1 week's notice.

Payment

Payment for orders needs to be made to Desire Cakes before the delivery of goods. Once an order is placed, we will forward payment details for our online checkout.

Payment confirms your order and will begin the scheduling of your order. If we do not receive any form of payment, your order will not begin the order scheduling and will not be completed.

Securing Your Order

A payment or deposit must be made in 4 days upon confirmation to secure and confirm your Order. On occasions, we can extend this period; if you so wish to have a longer deposit deadline, please let us know.

​Unfortunately, if we do not receive a deposit/payment or request for an extended payment period, your Order will be Cancelled, as we can not secure or hold your Order date, and your Order date will be released to another customer.

​We advise you to contact Desire Cakes if you can not make a payment in this period to avoid disappointment, as during busy seasons, we will have to Cancel your Order to release your Order date if we have not received a form of payment.

Cancellations

We are sorry to hear you would like to cancel your order, but we understand that sometimes your circumstances change entirely. Yes, you can cancel your order; unfortunately, your 25% deposit will not be refunded. If you paid the full total of your order up front, a 25% deposit will be taken out of your total before being refunded.

Less Than One Weeks Notice Cancellation: Unfortunately, if you cancel your Cake order with less than One Weeks Notice your full payment will not be refunded.

Acceptance: Your order becomes a binding contract when we send you an email confirming your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason. If we cancel your Order we will issue a full refund. By placing Order you agree to terms and conditions, and we have the right to cancel your Order under any circumstances.

How Is My Order Delivered?

Your order from Desire Cakes will be delivered with our own delivery services fresh to your door.

I Can't See Any Prices For Your Bespoke Cakes?

Each order is created custom for you. We don't put any prices on our website as each quote varies depending on your order, and we want to give all our customers a fair price to fit their unique order.

All of our Cakes are bespoke and based on each customer's specifications for their celebrations. To ensure we can give you an accurate quote, please confirm a few details about the Cake when you inquire on our Contact & Book Form.

Could you please let us know:
- Cake Size/How Many Slices
- Cake Flavour/Allergies
- Birthday Text On Cake
- Cake Design

Regarding Cake Design, feel free to forward us any design inspiration images of the Cake you would like. It is completely fine if you are unsure of Cake Design. Let us know your/their hobbies/interests, and I can incorporate them into the Cake, or you are more than welcome to leave the design discretion to our expertise.

I Am Working To A Small Budget, Can I Still Place An Order?

Of course! The great thing about everything being baked fresh and bespoke for you is that we can work around your budget and quote you a price that fits all budgets.

​We want to work with our local customers as a local independent company. We would be more than happy to discuss and work with you to create a cake for you and your budget without compromising on ingredients and quality.

I No Longer Require My Order, Can I Cancel?

We are sorry to hear you would like to cancel your order, but we understand that sometimes your circumstances change entirely. Free delivery across Desire Cakes Patisserie Shop.

When Will My Order Arrive?

You can place Orders for our Patisserie Online Shop four days in advance - As all items on our online shop are Made To Order fresh.

On the product page select the available date you would like your Order to be delivered on the calendar. Once your Order and payment is confirmed a member of the Desire Cakes team will be touch within 72 business hours to arrange delivery time.

Delivery Radius

Please allow 2 - 5 days for your Order to be delivered. Please place your Order in time for your celebrations.

Desire Cakes is a Cheltenham/Cotswolds Cake Company, and we deliver to this area and neighbouring counties within a Radius.

Please note you can Order/Checkout if your delivery address is based within our 33.5 kilometres/20.8 Miles delivery radius outside of Cheltenham. Unfortunately, if you are outside of our Radius, we will be unable to process your Order, and you will be unable to Checkout once you have entered your postcode outside of our Radius. We apologise for the inconvenience, but as a local independent business, we are unable to schedule delivery outside of our Radius.

Please get in touch with us if you would like to discuss delivery outside of this Radius, and we will try our best to accommodate your Order.

Patisserie Online Shop Terms

Cancellations and Returns

1.1. Cancellations: You may cancel your order with a full refund up to 4 days before the scheduled delivery date. Cancellation requests after this time may not be accepted. Cancellations are at Desire Cakes' discretion.
1.2. Returns: Due to the nature of our products and for hygiene and food standard safety, perishable goods are non-refundable and can not be returned. We cannot accept returns. However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please get in touch with us within 48 hours of delivery, and we will work to resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we may re-send your order ASAP. As all our items are edible and perishable goods, we do not offer refunds in any other circumstances.

1.3A.Faulty Returns: Returns are at Desire Cakes' discretion. We will evaluate your return request. When requesting a return, please get in touch with us via desire.cakes@yahoo.co.uk with your inquiry and images of the faulty goods. We need pictures of the product to investigate your online purchase.
1.3B. If your refund has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation, and your refund will be processed in 72 business hours. The refund payment will be processed using the credit card/original payment method.
1.3C. Replacement Product: If you request this option instead of a refund, you can also request a replacement of the same item. When requesting a replacement product, please get in touch with us via desire.cakes@yahoo.co.uk with your inquiry and images of the original faulty goods. We need pictures of the product to investigate your online purchase. We will be in touch to evaluate your request within 72 business hours.

Faulty Items

2. Any errors by customers such as wrong address entered, incorrect delivery address, order of wrong item, ordering incorrect amount, ordering incorrect flavour and any other order error on behalf of the customer will not be eligible for a refund or a replacement order.
2.B If customer notices an error with their order on their behalf, please contact and alert us of the error, we can adjust your order up to 72 hours before the delivery date - Any later after 72 hour period, we may not be unable to adjust your order in time for delivery. Please get in touch with us via desire.cakes@yahoo.co.uk to discuss your options.

Terms of Service

These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between you ("Customer," "You," or "Your") and Desire Cakes ("Bakery," "We," "Us," or "Our") for the purchase of products via our Online Shop. By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Orders and Payment
1.1. Order Placement: You may place orders for our products through Desire Cakes Online Shop. Your order is a purchase of our products.

1.2. Pricing: Prices for our products are displayed on the website and are subject to change without notice. The price for each product is listed on Desire Cakes Online Shop at the time of order placement.

1.3. Payment: We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or other payment methods as specified. Your payment will be processed securely through a trusted payment gateway.

2. Order Confirmation
2.1. Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details.

2.2. Acceptance: Your order becomes a binding contract when we send you an email confirming your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason.

3. Delivery
3.1. Delivery Areas: We currently deliver to specific areas only. We deliver 33.5 kilometres/20.8 Miles delivery radius outside of Cheltenham. Unfortunately, if you are outside of our Radius, we will be unable to process your order, and you will be unable to Checkout once you have entered your postcode outside of our Radius. If you use an incorrect postcode/address, we will deliver your order to the address, or we have the right to cancel your order for breach of terms.

3.2. Delivery Time: We will make our best effort to deliver your order on the date and time slot selected by you. However, we do not guarantee specific delivery times. You will receive a delivery time confirmation email.

3.3. Delivery Issues: In the event of delivery issues, please get in touch with us promptly. If delivery is attempted, but there is no answer/recipient at the delivery address, your order will be returned to Desire Cakes, and a delivery attempt will be made again at Desire Cakes discretion. As items are perishable, we do not leave orders outside or by your door.

3.4. Risk: The risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery.

4. Cancellations and Returns
4.1. Cancellations: You may cancel your order, with a full refund up to 36 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Cancellation requests after this time may not be accepted. Cancellations are at Desire Cakes discretion.

4.2. Returns: Due to the nature of our products as well as for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns. However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery, and we will work to resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we may re-send your order ASAP. As all our items are edible and perishable goods, we do not offer refunds in any other circumstances.

5. Quality and Allergen Information
5.1. Quality: We take utmost care to ensure the quality and freshness of our products. However, please note that our products may contain allergens, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

5.2. Allergen Information: Detailed allergen information for each product is available on Product Descriptions. Please review this information if you have allergen concerns. If you fail to read the allergen description on products, Desire Cakes is not liable.

Delivery

Delivery is free for all products across Desire Cakes Patisserie Shop.
